These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KineticDesq website and desktop application ("KineticDesq", "the app"), provided by the KineticDesq Team ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or subscribing to KineticDesq, you agree to these Terms.
License
An active subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run KineticDesq on as many Macs as you pay for, for as long as the subscription is active and you comply with these Terms. Each Mac also gets a one-time 7-day free trial, subject to the same Terms.
Acceptable use
- You will not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app or your account access.
- You will not reverse-engineer the app except where permitted by law.
- You will not use the app in a way that violates applicable law.
Payments
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, per Mac, in the currency shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Early-bird prices apply for as long as that subscription stays active; they are not restored after cancellation. Prices for new subscriptions may change; we will not change the price of an existing subscription without notice.
Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the period already paid. Refund eligibility is governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Disclaimer
KineticDesq is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, particularly for the experimental lock-screen sync feature, which relies on undocumented macOS behavior and may stop working after a macOS update, outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of KineticDesq.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
